I ' m b a c k! ! ! ! ! !

I'm back from my adventure!

Been away from my 'actual life' and went into the wild where it's so not my world-because I've done that before.

Went for a Red Crescent(RC) camp at SMK(A) Tun Abdul Zaidi(TUNAZ).Yeap,it's an agama school.And the camp was organised by RC members of TUNAZ themselves and every single one of them are Islam.

Day one
My parents sent me and Shan Liang there.Was greeted by the camp commander aka their HSL,Muhd IsmaFikri.Wasn't many people that time.At first was shy when we just reached there.While waiting for the room doors to be opened and other participants ro arrive,me and Shan Liang was afraid that me and him might be the only chinese in the whole camp.After more came,people who passed by would smile at us.Especially the AJKs,I like them alot.Mahirah was the first person who really talked to me at there.And brought me walk around the school.The school is so damn big and it's shaped in octagon.Everywhere looks the same you know!Got lost alot of times during the three days.

After everyone was there,we went to the room where we start to group together in our own group and made our flag.My group consist of 6 including me,Aneesa(TUNAZ),Faizah(TUNAZ),Aizah(TUNAZ),Agustine(SMK Petra Jaya aka. PJ) and Daniel(Kuching High).Agustine was the leader for our group-Sapphire.The groups were named after crystals such as topaz,amethyst,sapphire,emerald and onyx.

After ice breaking was Followed by lunch.Guess what's that when I first opened the polystyrene box---bee hoon!I was like so dead.But I managed to finish all.=) After lunch we had relay bandaging.Nothing much bout that as I din't prepared for first aid at all.*wait,tomorrow will be having first aid course and I haven't revise at all...*.Telematch was next.We played water balloons *yay!!!* and we have to fold an 'aeroplane' which can be in any shape and see which group's aeroplane fly the most far away from the 'pilot'.Our group just use the newspaper to make a big ball(like the ball you play in class when throwing your friends).And our's fly the most far.Others that groups that made the real folded aeroplane and Shan Liang's group which made the same 'aeroplane' like our's can't even beat our's.Nyahaha.After telematch,they gave us chicken rice for lunch!Was like =.= we just had 'so-called breakfast that was so full few hours ago'.We had chicken rice.=)

Then we had a talk bout 'stress' by the school counselor.I became kinda emo after the talk because it reminded things happened weeks ago.After that went to the AJK's room to borrow a phone since the public phone can't be used.Wanted to ask something and end up asking something else.=X We had kawad after that.we kawad-ed for only one hour!Yes,one freaking hour only and was only basics!!!Shiok right?Haha.Bathing time is after kawad kaki.The toilet there is really really really very clean compared to my school's.My school's toilet,you won't even feel like staying in there for another minute what more to say brush your teeth,change clothes and bath in there.Their toilet was very very very clean.Hahaha.have to stress on that.After bath,dinner!!!I can't remember what we had already.=S

We played games after dinner.We were first given a balloon and had to blew it ourselves.And we have to go around the hall to ask for participants' signature.A cool game.Never done it before.After that,we have to protect our balloon and have to destroy our enemies'.Managed to snatch back the flag that was snatched by the AJKs during lunch time.I managed to destroy a few balloons but in the end still din't managed to stay till last 3.I was last 4 I think.They gave us supper which was roti and tea again!!!They feed us alot of food like afraid that we're hungry.The hand-made roti by the kakaks was nice!Went back to class to sleep after that.And so unluckily,I had running nose.And after one then I can really sleep.But,was woke up by the siren and had to group in 20 seconds.Almost everyone was looking very sleepy.*duh!!!* After the lame thing,we went back to class to continue where our dreams paused at.Asmah gave some pill and my nose became better after that.Thanks!

Day two
I woke up at FIVE in the morning when kak p.kah came to ask the islams to solat.I was the only chinese in the class I slept.Slept between Sheril and Faizah.Had flag raising at 6 and morning exercise at 7.After that almost everyone went for a shower except for me.Cause I was very cold that morning and the water are tap water and I asked the AJKs and they said I can bath at 11 cause we're not doing anything at that time.After shower time,it's breakfast time.Had fried rice with something I don't know at first.After that I asked kak p.kah,she explained that inside was filled with potatoes and chicken and out there was covered with something like flour and fry them.I think so...

After breakfast was supposed to be kawad but it was raining and the hall couldn't be used because of the STPM results coming out.So they asked us to to group discussion for the talentine that night.RC quiz comes next was already 10.By the time we finished RC quiz,the rain stopped so had to kawad.*means,no time to bath*I din't feel like kawad because I was feeling tired and hot and thirsty.=( And I already promised kak Raihan to bath with her...

I finally managed to get rid of kawad at 12.30,which is lunch time,I wanted to go bath but he obstacle course is right after lunch!!!So they just asked me to bath after the obstacle course.

Obstacle course was fun!!!Had five stations.Our group's first station was required us to get our feet in a empty trash bin and climb up to the 'wood' that was built around 50 cm tall and walk it through and step another 50cm high which made 1m away from the ground.Augustine passed first and help the others to go through because we were allowed to grab them to help them balance.=)Second station requires us to blow the flour and find the balloon hidden inside without using our hands.After we grabbed the balloon with our mouth,we can't let it go yet.Had to wait till everyone has a balloon.Me,Agustine and Daniel looked like old people because we don't have tudung to protect our hair.The other 3 members in my group are malay girls so they look better.Hehe.Third station was crawling at the mud!!!The mud were full with puddles of water.When I first crawled in,water flooded my shoes and trousers.And it just felt very ewww and thankfully,they weren't any insects,worms in the mud water.Fourth was climbing 'tembok'.After all of us reached the upper side,the station crews painted our face with poster colour and took a group photo but the photo is with Mahirah so,unfortunately you can't see how ugly I was that time lol.Then we hurried to the dataran.All 5 groups meet at there and we had to form a line as long as possible with things we had with us.Shoes,shoelaces,belts,socks,necklaces,spoon,rubber bands etc. anything we had with us were taken out and start forming a line as long as possible.Our group formed the second longest I think.After that we were asked to sit down and close our eyes.And guess what,it snowed!They poured flour on us.And keep asking us not to open our eyes or move.Keep asking us to think bout stuff.And when we were allowed to open our eyes,we grabbed flour anywhere we can find and take revenge back at the AJKs.Was fun running around the dataran throwing flour here and there.I like the obstacle course alot.Every single one if it.Honestly out of all the stations,I've only did the one we had to grab something out of a plate of flour without our hands.So yea,thumbs up for the obstacle course.

After the 'snow',we had to wash the flour on the dataran.So once again,we had chance to play water.Catherine splashed a bucket of water at me and my hair was a little wet after that.With flour on it...On the way back to our rooms to get ready to bath,saw kak Raihan and kak p.kah and they said I looked so clean and I told them that the flour was hiding inside the hair. Then I let them see it and told them the flour mized with water was sticking at my hair.Kak Raihan was kind enough to help me clean them while I talk with both of them.Kak p.kah said she likes my hair on the first day.Happy la when people praised my hair!Whee~~~=) And that time I felt like I was having two big sister.heheh!

Aih,still a long story.I just fast forward things.After that I went to bath after that went behind the mosque to see the AJKs barbeque.Smells nice and the smell can be detected in front the mosque.After that dinner time!Had two yummy chicken wings.That was the last time we had dinner so it was kinda nice and nyaman(bahasa S'wak).=)After dinner,kak p.kah had to go back because she'll be having tuiton the next day(this morning).Was kinda sad.But managed to get signature,contact and took photos with her.After that was RC hunting where we had to hunt something.I'm sorry that I'm unable to explain this game because I don't understand the whole game at all.I just followed what they did/asked me to do.All I know is,I was bitten by alot of mosquitos because the school area was dark and I was wearing slippers as my shoes were soaked with mud water and they stinks like hell.Even they don't stink,there were too wet for me to wear them too.

After RC hunting was talentine!!!Had lotsa laughters.It ended about 11.30 so we just go back our room.Kak doraemon,kak raihan,Mahirah and a few AJKs came to had a lilttle chat in our room.Then I started to ask them to sign my camp tee too after kak p.kah's when I see Catherine,Fiona and Michelle(all from Kuching High) came to ask the kakaks to sign.They left about 1215 so we went to sleep after that.I slept sort of tight that night.No more running nose.=) And no more waking up middle of the nite.


Day three
That morning had no kak p.kah to morning call us wake up so about 6 something then I wake up when I heard Aneesa and Sheril was talking and the lights were on.Had morning exercise about 7 and bathing time was after morning exercise.Like the day before,I din't bath because it was too damn chilling in the morning.That morning was even worse.It rained!So means,rainy day+tap water at 7.30.I can't make it.After that was breakfast time.We talked alot and sang seasons in the sun(camp song) and kak Raihan already cried and followed by a few more.We had fun talking and singing that they canceled the kawad.The AJKs are so cool!

Then we really had to stop singing and playing and talking because had to clean up.After packing up stuff and cleaning and changed to camp shirt,you could see us busy 'exchanging' signatures,contact numbers,email addresses along the corridor.The boys are the same too.Then,closing ceremony.Sang seasons in the sun once more with the principal and vise principal.

After they left,we all got back our prohibited stuff cameras,handphones,mp3 players etc...Took lotsa photos with others and was kinda pissed that my camera battery went flat.But I borrowed handphone from kak doraemon and took pictures using her phone and asked my dad to bring my phone when he's coming to pick me up so that I can send over.We sang Seasons in the sun again,and once again many people including Faizah and Aneesa cried.Kak Raihan said she wasn't in the mood to cry yet.Haha.And we were given feedback forms to fill in and while filling the form,they put the 'kenangan terindah' song and I was sitting near the kakaks and they heard me sing it and they all:"aih...pandai nya nyanyi lagu tok".HAHAHAHA and asked kakaks to sing with me.Before going back,I tried my best to really take as many photos as possible with as many people as possible.And it was so sad and hard to say goodbye with all the friendly people there.

I joke bout asking kak Raihan to go back and help me wash my hair and I hugged her and I was kinda shocked when she pulled me backwards and I see tears in her eyes when she changed the hugging direction(okay it's hard to explain here and I don't know how to explain either) and she hugged me for about a minute and said she hug me bagi pihak kak p.kah.

After her emotion was a lilttle better I said I really got to go so me and Shan Liang go get out stuff and leave.Aneesa,Mahirah and Aneesa's sister,Asmah sent us and was waving even though can't really see each other anymore.

I remember clearly that the last overnight camp I went was in primary six.That time was different as that one was with mostly people I know but this one I only know 1 over 50.So yea,made lotsa new friends,interesting people and learnt lots of new stuff.I din't,don't,won't regret joining this camp at all.

Guess what,I expected to get sunburn but in the end,it rained alot and something most unexpected is,I've got my legs and hands bitten by mosquitos like hell.If you're next to me now,you can see I'm busy scratching my hands and legs while typing on the keyboard.

Some funny and memorable and sweet memories...

• the AJKs group including my favourite two kakaks-kak Raihan and kak p.kah,said that I'm the friendliest chinese they have ever seen in their life of 16/17 years
• a few girls(participants) claimed that I'm the FIRST friendly chinese that they have ever seen(so happy la!!!)
• bangau oh bangau song became the song for me to learn bahasa Sarawak.I'll remember how to sing it in bahasa Sarawak with Agus
• Faizah would smile whenever I touched/wanna touch her
• they were shocked when I sang 'kenangan terindah' and 'pudar'
• Aneesa is my bahasa Sarawak's dictionary/teacher
• Agus like to call me amoi,some people called me Ellen too=)
• I'll always remember the longest hug I had=)
• I won't forget all the 3 c-cute comel cantik kakaks

Everyday they'll ask me what I think bout the camp.I just wanna say,I really really really like this camp.It was emphasizing on neither first aid nor marching,they focus more on fun and socialization.No one can deny that they have made new friend(s) in this camp.

What a long post!!!Well,I doubted you would reach this line.Hahaha.
