Belated Mooncake Festival

Yesterday was mid-autumn festival.


Also known as Mooncake festival.


Went to Lydia's house to play lantern.I think I'm possessed with the statement "being a committee member,you need to have the first to arrive last to leave policy" because I went to her house at 6pm where the moon isn't out yet!=.=Apparently I was the earliest among others.Nah just kidding bout the "committee policy" thinggy,I went that early because I don't have transport later.

Helped Lydia to set up.Png reached when we were cutting mooncakes.Around half an hour after I arrived I think.Jenny Voon came around 6.50pm++.Then Leon walked there.Soon was James and Edwin.Horng Hui and Pei Qun was the latecomers.And Ka Kiong even later.He reached just on time before we left for a walk.

Imagine them with grey hairs after another 30 years.Sitting at Lydia's house drinking tea.Oops~

Did I mentioned Lydia's mum prepared hell lots of junk food for us?Hehe.This big bowl was just ONE out of many packets.

We took a walk from Lydia's house to Poh Kwong park,wanted to see someone's house then walk further out.Ran away when we saw that person.I nearly got my tee burnt off by 'ahem'.She asked me not to tell anyone who wasn't there last night.

A house we saw and everyone was 'whoa~~~' from far and the house owner even asked us to go in the house xD

Later we went to Adelyn's house.Adelyn walked with us back to Lydia's house.The rest left the house leaving Lydia,Jenny and I.Emoing with playing candles.Okay maybe only me was emoing.Haha.

I haven't played lantern for years and last night I actually played lantern with most of the people who are elder than me~=)Yay see I'm still so damn young.LOLS.

The four-lantern-stick was mine.The two-lantern-stick was Jenny's.The normal one is Png's.I used the longest stick which is the one people used to dry clothes=.=

IYUFDC 2008

That day...
4pm and I was very high.
Chasing and running in the platform with the band members,
with puddles of water after the rain splashed on my white trousers.
Yelling and screaming at the top of my lungs,
because everything is finally over.

Few months of stress,worries,misunderstandings,piss-ings and hard workare finally put up with a comma that day.

Here are some pictures taken on that day and the day before.Guess this will be more like a picture post than word post.I'm too lazy to do the typings.Ops.

To anyone who may concern:
I would like to apologize if we didn't satisfied you or any of your members but I think the most important thing is not about winning.It's bout getting together.And clearly in mind,I know everything is worse compared to previous year.But,everyone thinks everything they're in,they're doing is the coolest and best.So do I.I don't care bout people comparing this year's IYUFDC with the previous years because you got to believe in what you're doing and everyone,everything have their own pros and cons.

To the committee members:
SOME of you actually get me on my nerves and made me wanna choke you to death but I'm glad that on the actual day everyone of you turned up and most of you were in position doing what you're supposed to do.Great job!=)

To the members:
Thanks for coming up that day and helped as ushers.We won't succeed without you all.Thank you!

To Green Road participants:
Thanks for coming up for marching practices during the holiday and spent everyday seeing me and me seeing you.Guess Evon had enough of seeing me from the 15th August(Friday) until 23rd August(Saturday).Sometimes I pity you all.And thanks for tanning under the sun with me.LOL!

Went to Jocelyn's blog a while ago to found out that the government is actually gonna postpone Avril Lavigne's concert!Like,what the hell?!

With some stupid and lame excuses they gave.Grr!ROARR!!!!!!!!!

Besides that,some Malaysians tend to take responbilities on their own job.Yea I'm one of it actually but at least I don't pretend I din't get your blood information and stay silent when I won't be able to make it.And now,making MAYBE everything have to be postponed.No,please pray everyone!That everything will go on.We,okay maybe I can't afford to let things postpone again.=(

Somemore is someone promised to do you this favour and turn back to say 'no' on the next day!Why have to say 'yes' at the first place when you know you don't want it?And yes,a very big dissappointment I have on you now.

And then HOR,some people don't look very freaked out when they told you there's a very big bad news.

What's wrong with the world?

I guess I just had the craziest day ever in history.

Bintulu Convention 2008

Hey!Finally there's someone named J to rush me update.Don't know who's that J though.

This These are the reasons I kept this post delayed till today:

1.Pre-semester exams(actually I din't even studied for it)

2.RC convention at Bintulu (the very reason I'm gonna update NOW)

3.Modem got thunder stroke =.= for the third time! (And my technician just delivered my new modem like half and hour ago)

Exams!!!

15 August
Reached Kuching High at 7pm.I actually reached around 6 something but someone insisted I eat first before carry on my 12 hours bus trip.=)

Evon reached after quite a while I chatted with Catherine.Catherine cut her hair!!!She said she even cut it on that afternoon haha!And omigosh I thought who was that auntie smiling so sweetly at me when I was still in the car.LOL!

More and more people reached.Matang Jaya's 2 representives riding the same bus too.With altogether 27 Highians,2 teacher in charge,1 kid(one of the teacher in charge's grand-daughther),2 Matang Jayas and finally,2 Greenians.And of course the driver.Luckilly that night we don't have extra 'best-friend' as it was '7-month-half'.HAHA!

I couldn't remember anything much but I remember clearly in mind that the bus is freaking freezing!And everything else is ok.

Stopped by Sibu around 2 and continue on around 3.Slept all the way from Sibu to Bintulu.

16 August
Woke up at 6 after I fall asleep at 3.Saw Bintulu's shophouses when I opened my eyes.It's too early and the market weren't operating yet so the driver drove around to look for breakfast.Me,Evon,Catherine and Fiona had roti canai.Yes,the same Fiona that went to both TUNAZ and TUTTI camp with me!=) And special thanks to Catherine for the treat!So paiseh I ordered 2 roti canai kosong and iced milo and to find out she don't wanna accept my money when I paid her!

Went to a beach which I don't know what's the name.The Highians were practicing their performance they gonna perform that night.Which is singing 'You Raise Me Up'.They have been singing that since the nigth before.While the 2 Matang Jaya girls emoing at the bench far far away left me and Evon making fun of some people in the 'pondok'.The Matang Jaya people came to us after a while.And we started social.They are Siaw Hui and Poh Ling.Both are ex-leaders of Matang Jaya and they had their AGM right coincidently the day before that.See,how kepo I'm.

4 of us went on the bus earlier to wait for the Highians to finish practicing.Reached The Regency Hotel around 10 something.Saw Jacky and the St.Jo gang over there registering themselves.Went to queeu up to register because the queeu was getting longer and longer.Me,Evon and Poh Ling shared the same room.After done with purchasing the tee,collecting our pocket files and obtaining the key,we all rushed back to our room-room 402.

Washed my face,showered,changed into convention tee that I just bought and head off to the ball room to attend the talk.Called Eileen to ask bout the stuff she asked me to help pass to Tian Ji and guess what she awaked me from my sleepyness and tiredness by telling me Julie got biten by leeches.=.= Evon was 'interviewing' me with all sorts of detailed questions bout the leeches thinggy.

After the first talked started around 2,it ended around 1 hour later.Then had tea break.Then another session where we have to build something useful from the materials given.Examples of materials are water glue,paper box,papers,cellophone tape,penknife and more.I was in group 13,with Evon and all the rest are Sibu people.

Showered.Dressed up in full uniform.It's a formal so yea.Took bus.Reached Park City Hotel.Nice sunset-beach view there.Snapped a picture of the beach in the bus.

Went into a hall where it looks kinda grand.Backdrop...nothing much to comment.LOL.Waited for VIPS,with their arrival,their speeches and all that.Then,FOOD and performances and awards giving.

11 somthing,went back to room 402 and sleep!

17 August
Alarm alert rang at 5.Woke up,switched off air-cond,woke Evon up.Both went back to sleep cause too freezing.Shaken up by Evon and heard a voice telling me it's 6.30!Where we supposed to be having breakfast!

Wash face,brushed teeth,changed into RC tee and waited for Evon to bath and went to eat breakfast down there.Apparently nothing much left when you're late for FOOD.Just drank coffee and went down to lobby to wait for shuttle bus.Hopped on bus and head to the place where we have to plant trees.That's our activity of the day.Tree planting=)

The bus briver drove us around Bintulu and went to the 'largest' shopping 'mall' called New World Suites which is not really big but has a few shops we have in tHe spring such as soxworld,guardian,marry brown,the body shop,baleno,popular,cindy etc.

Spotted baby milo tees in a shop called Remix and I stayed there for the rest of half an hour.Catherine saw I was shopping alone so she called me and ask me go down.Seriously I prefer to shop alone when I have time limits.So I had my breakfast with her.Ordered Marry Brown.The burger is OKAY...but the chickens Catherine ordered doesn't look very fascinating to me.

I'm really tired of typing now.Suddenly I started to sneeze and having running nose.So,I'll just rush through everything.

After shopping we went back to Hotel to clean up ourselves and pack and checked out and ready to go home.

Bus started to depart at 2 in the afternoon.Like when I came,I slept all the way from Bintulu to Sibu.=.= Reached Sibu at 6.Ate our dinner there.Me,Fiona,Catherine,Kelly,JSs and teacher in charge went to KFC.=) The rest went somewhere else.From Sibu back to Kuching,I hardly sleep.I think I didn't sleep at all.Haha.

18 August
Reached Kuching High at 1am!

I started sitting right here in front of the computer since 7 and it has been 3 hours but only 2 songs were played in my music player.I keep on repeating them.

I wasn't this unhappy at first.

I wasn't this shitty at first.

I begun to think...

and think...

and think.

Finally I realized,that how foolish when something is able to change from extraordinary to ordinary.Imagine McD without BigMac.I'm experiencing it now.

I realized good things never last long.Why are people that able to cheer me up only able to stay with me for another few months?

Why every time some one must have another some one in their heart when I met them?

Why are there exams?

The only thing I have in my mind is I DON'T KNOW!

Can time just forever stops here?

Malam Gala Seni Greenian

SMK Green Road had a 'Malam Gala Seni Greenian' on the 1st and 2nd of August.I went only to the 2nd night as I was parading with the band members on the 1st night.

Went there at 2.30 in the afternoon for prefect duties.Peralatan have to go on their own and we are the earliest to reach there because we had to rearrange the chairs.Why?Because on 2nd August's morning,some Malay had their wedding there so the peralatan people had to stack up all 900 chairs up and we peralatan people on 2nd day had to put back the 900 chairs.And like what Geraldine said,I will end up with all bruises and I agree with that.

Back to the point.When I reach Dewan Suarah aka. Civic Centre,only saw Anthony sitting with the back facing people.How emo.Then I decided to take the lift to the top floor.He tagged along.Wee~The first time I stand on a building so far away from ground.Inside the airplane is not counted.

After about 10 minutes Gavin called Anthony telling him they reached.Went down there Lik King the leader just came when I reach Dewan Suarah.Started working after about another 10 minutes because the guys went up to the top flower again.And then someone told people the night before,there were some students trapped inside the lift.I was like,OMG?Phew~

After arranging all the chairs went over to Sarawak Club with Sin Kiat,Chui Lan,Lik King and Jasper to had over dinner and we girls changed there.


Soon,it was night time.More and more familiar faces popped up.The night started after the VIPs arrived.

City Day Parade

Went to parade with the band last night.

For the past few years,I have been watching the City-Day Parade but never participated in the parade before.So this year I decided to make a change.Went on the band bus as photographer and Linda as water girl but in the end we two switched.LOL.

There were a lot of water girls.Michelle,Hajar,Fran,Brend,Linda,Rachel,Cassey(last minute) and I.The few St.Jo guys which are friends of Amelia joined us too.Water boys haha.I only remembered one of their names,Willy.

It feels nice and a little tiring to walk from Lumba Kuda to Padang Merdeka through Padungan and Main Bazaar.Cassey and I ran into Everise to buy some cold soft drinks for the water girls and boys.She needs Coke to be energized.

Keep seeing kids with this cute spongebob balloon!I want it too.xD Saw two of them let go in the air.Poor spongebobs.Cassey and I wanted to buy the cute devil horns which I always wanted since RWMF but we decided to buy it the next time if we were to go to Kuching Fest during the holidays.

I din't take much pictures as I passed my camera to Linda cause she's moving freely around the troupe where I was pushing trolley at the back.I only had the chance to take these at the final destination of the parade where they played school song to the VIPs and crowds.
